Glad to see you at my page, welcome to comment or share it)

So, lets get started;)

Adrenal insufficiency syndrome (P.S. do not medicate yourself under any circumstances! It can lead to dangerous cause. Please, apply to the high-qualified specialists!)

All started 10 years ago (now I’m 35), I was extremely exhausted and even doing common things for me was a burden. Of course, I was referring this to the laziness and (an active youth)))… in some days, I could t sleep enough even for 2 days and might go for a work) perhaps, it also made an effect, we ll discuss it later)

Going to now, interring the University of Integrative Nutrition Science where I learnt about my diagnosis — hello, adrenal glands. All in all, what I also faced a few years ago that I couldn’t have a good sleep… yes, I slept for many hours but was jaded in the morning, I always wanted to have a nap… coffee wasnt helping and I switched to energy drinks (if I knew then how badly this affects the body), but in the evenings, energy sometimes appeared.

Due to years of bad sleep and excessive coffee consumption, my feeling doubled with irritability… fatigue was complemented with impatience, I couldn’t wait for the moment when a person, who I speak with would finish the point, I even interrupted people. (OMG)) — fatigue and insufficient sleep did their job as well as vimanins deficiency.

Also most of the time I was thirsty… as I now understand, with adrenal sufficiency syndrome, natrium isn’t retained in the body and quickly washing out, if you face the same symptom — you must take a bit of natrium during a day

Craving for sugary and metabolic syndrome (when cells are resisting to insulin and sugar is retained in the blood) are not good at all. This is a pre diabetes second type stage, so if you have this symptom you must apply to the doctor.

The definition — Adrenal insufficiency syndrome — has appeared recently and combines many different symptoms, as

- Tiredness after waking up and low blood pressure

- High blood sugar

- Depression

- Pain in the back

and so on…the rest of the symptoms you can find in the book Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome of Michael Lame (a table book of endocrinologists)

please, don’t be confused with an official medicine name — Adrenal insufficiency (a proved medicine illness).

“Reference — adrenal glands are taking place above the kidneys, they are are similar islands, but carring out nearly the most important functions in the body”. These glands are responsible for the extraction of the most significant hormones. The most prominent of them known as — cortisol and adrenalin, noradrenalin, aldosterone and so on)

There are 4 stages of AIS. You can easily divide them by the following symptoms and face your stage:

  1. Cortisol is increased, a light excitement, it’s hard to fall asleep. Sometimes you can find your hands are shaking, even the panic attacks. Good news are — this stage easily recovers.
  2. If we miss the stage number one, then cortisol is commonly increasing (especially if you hardly sleep and drink a lot of coffee during a day) then our friend cortisol goes on a temporary vacation, but for a short period (as at the 3rd stage… we start to feel fatigued in the morning, sleepiness during the day and rush of energy in the evening (that is where owls are born). We double the portions of coffee, shift to a night job mode and that slowly turns into stage…three…
  3. Deep exhaustion. It’s the most advanced and protracted stage, we can only rely on a good doctor — this stage is dangerous, that is why self-medication is not advisable…or advisable to apply to an integrative nutrition scientist…it’s the stage where you want to sleep not only after waking up… you want to sleep ALL THE TIME! Since AIS is often connected with iron deficiency (a decreased ferritin and an increased glucose), they also cause fatigue. That was my stage)
  4. And finally, if we do not anything… the diagnosis — Adrenal insufficiency and hello hospital.
  5. I hope, this wount happen none of us… That is why it’s better to pay attention to your symptoms in advance.

By the way! Adrenal glands, as well as a liver, can recover, but you should help them. With proper medication, you will go from one stage to another. For example, I went from the 3rd stage to the 2nd, then the 1st stage and out of the matrix)))

So, what to do if you caught yourself at some symptomatic?

Above, we’ve already considered stages of… exhaustion, so what to do if you’ve noticed one of the symptoms?

  1. It’s better to define what stage are you at… there are a lot of texts on the Internet). I used a saliva laboratory test.
  2. Try to give up withcoffee, green and black tea. The best option is a herb tea (not increasing adrenalin) Exclude any stimulants for the nervous system. I have low blood pressure and take amber acid on a scheme basis, now I am supporting myself with adaptogens… earlier I was taking other medicine. I ll tell about stage 3 more detailed…just follow me)
  3. At the 1st and 2nd you still can do some sport, but not the stage number 3. At the 3rd stage, I was walking for 20 minutes a day and did a very simple exersise. Now, I can even take a swim in the pool in the morning) I just like it). Coffee I replaced long ago with the Carob or Chicory.
  4. Reduce simple carbons and bakeries. They cause inflammation and also lead to further exhaustion. I’ve given up dairy, but it’s only my choice, it’s up to you to decide.
  5. Check yourself up with lactose and gluten intolerance.

The scheme I used: adrenal glands bark (from IHerb), vitamin C, liquorice root (only 1–2 weeks), vitamins B, amber acid, liver support. As I switched to the previous stage, I added sports.

  1. Check your vitamins deficiency — vitamin C is a must! Sodium ascorbate is the best form of it. Vitamin D and B group.
  2. The most significant for all the stages is SLEEP! It is crucial to go to bed before 11pm (ideally, at 10). Our internal watch of the nervous system recovers from 9 pm to 12 pm. That is why, missing this precise time, we simply do not let our adrenals to rest.

At the end I just want to say… if you’ve decided to start your heeling path or seeking your adrenal glands to recover, I’d say that you on right track! All you need is the patience and just proceed your way, then remuneration wount let you waiting for long!

Whats about you? Have you met any symptoms above?
